I’m supposed to say things about myself here aren’t I?

I am an artist based in Los Angeles, CA, for most of the time.  I have a Bfa from Otis College of Art and Design, where I studied Illustration, after which I worked as an art director at Visionwork Education, an educational software company, before my 8-years of art directing at Cru, a global non-profit.

Enough run-on sentences.  Currently I do story-boarding for folks like Microsoft, AT&T, Nissan, Ford, Disney/Marvel, Sony, and Loot Crate.  I’ve also done animation on the Adult Swim show, Dream Corp LLC and directed narratives like this music video for Utkarsh Ambudkar.  I like to tell stories and discuss philosophy, as my father is a Zen Master and I studied theology.

I also enjoy facilitating creative communities, so I’ve served on the board of directors with the Society of Illustrators LA, partnered with the Getty Center to host events for local artists, and hold drawing meetups around whatever town in which I am.  When not doing those things, I curl up in a corner of my dwelling where there are two beasts named Thomas Rigby and Roger, with whom I frequently enjoy tacos or khana moo krob.
